And laziness. Most of the time i think it's just that :( So silly! xx

So infuriating, and yet here you are turning it on its head and making it a thing of beauty. Thank you for sharing your heart *and* your inspiration! xoxo

So sorry you have to deal with this! But what a wonderful thing to use this as a way to highlight the people who have inspired you.

It's an aspect of some people that I will never, ever understand. "I like what you have/do/create/say so I will take it for myself. Do it exactly the same and pretend you don't exist." I see it happen again and again. I experience it - and it really sucks when you have a small audience because no one every goes,"Wait a minute...wasn't that something Jo said?". Ha. You and I both know at least one person who does this almost for a living and will deny it to her dying breath EVEN THOUGH IT'S OBVIOUS. I used to think it was cool to be cool. Whatever...there is infinite "pie" to go round etc. Nowadays it just really pisses me off. I have another friend (whose story it is to tell beyond the vague outline) whose every move is being blatantly and openly copied online. The copycat even says,"Hey I'm doing what you do." It is not okay. I'm sorry this is happening to you AGAIN.

I absolutely love sharing your work - especially your "unravel my year". I tell my friends, family & clients about you & include the link. I feel so proud to have found you & want the rest of my world to SEE you too.

Yes, I am inspired & sometimes feel so inadequate when I think I can match your work. Then your voice comes back to me to share MY vision. Even when my version is similar to yours it's comes out uniquely mine and I learn (again) to trust myself.

You have been a big part of that knowing & I am so grateful for the nudge forward from your gentle spirit.

I agree whole heartedly with what you write.. You have created something beautiful, which took you years to develop.. And I thank you for sharing it freely with us all.. My daughter has been doing Unravelling since 2016. I am so grateful that you share so freely.. Let's hope we reap what we sow. You sow love.. The woman you mention is sowing lies...lies that she created Unravelling. Maybe you could create your own version in her language? DeepL isn't bad to get a basic translation and much cheaper than paying someone to translate it all. You could then pay a native speaker just to tidy it up for you. I do that when I have things which need translating.. Keep on the great work! Thanks so much. Love will win out I hope!

Yes....so unfair and horrible...how can somebody say that they created something that they didn't?! Thank you for you being there and your work so inspiring and the beauty and the "safe place" you provide. Your voice is yours in a unique way. Love

This must be so frustrating! And horrible to hear for those of us trying to be ourselves in a copycat world.

AGAIN?!?!?!!? I guess I understand in that what you write and what you do is amazing and wonderful - but OH the IRONY in the fact that what you write about is about getting in and knowing yourself and following your own heart and your own words - so to steal the words that teach people to do that feels... well, bonkers. (Reason number ten million and twenty seven why so many people befuddle me - lol -) I love you and I honour your words and your magic and hope that those who steal finally see that it's so wrong on so many levels and that the things and patterns and wonk that they find themselves stuck in might just be because they aren't doing their own work. I am so sorry that this has happened to you. Sending love.

An interesting note, to myself, is the fact that we both started blogging in 2006. I sympathize with your feelings elucidated here. On the one hand I wish someone, anyone, would find my writings worthy of copying and publishing. I agree, wholeheartedly, that giving credit would be essential to establishing credible character.

I envy your ability to recall the Cadre of others who have influenced you and your ability to utilize that influence to share your thoughts.. Thank you for persersevering and sharing. I wish I had the willingness to put my heart on the page.

I adored this last part and reading all those names! Wow the internet is magical and odd isn’t it. ✨ I adore your Unravelling your Year workbook and print and fill one in every year. Thank-you for making it! Here are some gifts for you 🎁 🐱 🦊 🦊

I'm sorry this happened to you. I love your workbook and always add the link to my start of the year posts on WOTY.

How you have taken this situation and turned it into a way of talking about those who have inspired you makes you so special! Copycats come from a place of scarcity - whereas you always function from abundance! ♥

aw, thank you Corinne, i'm writing that last bit in my journal! ❤️

And they do it in real life too.

Why do Tesco have to make a "vegetable box" to lure away a local grower's fifteen box scheme members?

They're already bigger, cheaper, easier, with a *way* wider choice, but just *in case* a few people should just consider supporting a local independent, they wheel out the marketing big guns. Why?

(Your rollcall of inspirers is quite a thing! ❤️)

in these cases it's so difficult to recall the theory that 'imitation is the sincerest form of flattery', isn't it? But that's exactly what this fake account is doing; they don't have original ideas of their own so they are filling their creative void with your words - they are the husk and you are the.. um... germ? *that analogy didn't end well but you know what I mean*
