Hello loves
Today felt like the right day to pop in and say hello. My last post here was back in July, so it’s been a minute!
How are you guys doing?
Let’s start with the important bit:
I’m not letting go of The Unraveled Heart! But the truth is I’ve got another Substack and am having so much fun there I wanted to invite you over.
In short: it’s my happy place 🩷
I never really found my rhythm here and I suspect I was trying too hard to recapture the glory days of blogging. Somewhere between 2006 and 2012 I found a thread that lead me to the life I’m living now — I mean, I still have the friends I made online back then!
I still want to have a space to write, still want to share my experience of mid-life and adult ADHD, but/and the space I want/need to hang-out in right now is Creative Joy Club.
The name kinda says it all :-)
I’m making videos for my subscribers — on my JOYTUBE channel! — and it’s just so much FUN. I need that fun! I want to talk and play more than I want to write (for now). We have Zoom journaling hang-outs every two months (which I adore) and next year, when the weather improves, I’ll be practicing my vlogging skills as I relocate from London to Bath.
In short, I’ve created the place I want to be, because it’s been a tough year and the best way I can support my peeps (and myself) is through creative joy.
So consider this your invite to come and play!
I’m running a special offer for December — all subscribers on the Creative Joy Club ANNUAL subscription plan1 are getting complementary access to my end of year workshops, Unravel the Year and Finding Our Words2 ❤️
Hope to see some of you in the workshops and over in CJC, and when the time feels right I’ll share more stories here in 2025.
Sending all my love
Susannah (and Mousey & Lolly) xo
NOT the monthly plan. Includes all annual subscribers who’ve been there since the beginning 👍
The dates are December 21st and December 29th! We’re gathering on Zoom (they'll be recorded!) at 5pm (UK) to Unravel 2024 and Find Our Words for 2025 together 🧡
Loving the Club!! If you need encouragement to join this soulful, supportive creative community, consider this it. 🤗🎉💞
I also went wandering into a lovely book shop and bought the same book because it looked so beautiful. I will read it but don’t expect to learn anything other than the perspective of a younger women. But I maybe surprised.
The post made me smile for lots of reasons but mostly because I’d done the same as you did.... I bought a book for it’s cover. 😊
